We’ve been heads-down this summer making BTWB faster, cleaner, and easier to use. Whether you’re running a gym or chasing a new PR. Here’s a rundown of what’s landed recently, and a look at what’s coming next.
Gym Management Updates
Find anything, instantly

A new command palette lives in the admin dashboard — one keyboard shortcut (⌘K or Ctrl+K) opens a search box that jumps you straight to any client, staff member, report, page, tool, or setting. No more digging through menus to find the thing you know is there.
Easier Navigation
A new app launcher in the header gives you one place to hop between Gym Management, Workout TV, Programs, and more — plus a Help tile that takes you straight to the knowledge base from anywhere.
Marketplace Visibility Control
Decide exactly which membership plans show up on your public Marketplace page. A new “Include on Marketplace page” toggle on each plan lets you feature the memberships you want prospects to see and hide the ones you don’t.
Membership Plan Self Checkout QR Code
You can now download a QR code for a membership plan’s Self Checkout link. This is perfect for printing or displaying in your gym so members can sign up on the spot using their phone. You’ll find the Download QR Code button on a membership plan when it’s enabled for online sign-ups. You can download the QR code as either a PNG or SVG and use it however you’d like.
MIA Report
We’ve added a dedicated MIA, or Missing In Action, report. You can now easily view active clients who have not checked into a class recently, making it easier to identify members who may need a quick follow-up.
Current-Time Indicator on Calendars
The week and day calendar views now display a live line marking the current time, making it easier to see what’s happening right now.
Client Credit
You can now keep a running credit balance on any client’s account. A client’s available credit is displayed directly in the Client Details header. A dedicated Client Credit window lets you add or remove credit and review the complete history of every adjustment. Any available credit is automatically applied toward the client’s future charges.
Send Claim Account Email
You can now manually send a new Claim Account email to a client. This is the email clients receive when you create an account on their behalf. It allows them to set their password and claim access to their account. If a client missed the original email or accidentally deleted it, you can now send them a new one to help with account recovery. You can access this option from the Actions menu on the Clients page.
Updated Discounts Page
The Discounts page has been rebuilt into a single, unified list that makes discounts faster and easier to manage. The updated page now includes:
- A search bar
- A discount-type filter
- Sortable columns
- Pagination
These updates make it much easier to find and manage the discount you’re looking for.
Fitness Dashboard Updates
Plan Cycles To Tracks Or Individuals

When Cycles are enabled, you can choose exactly which ones your members can access. Gyms can now decide whether VNR Cycles are available to members with a single toggle. From there, assign or plan a Cycle program wherever it belongs: On a gym track for the entire group, on an individual member’s personal track.
Fitness dashboard member profile

Member profiles now include a full set of new tabs — Training Days, Benchmarks, Macros, Weigh-Ins, Modalities, and Imbalances — giving admins and coaches a detailed look at each member in one place. This information used to live only inside the app; now it’s on the profile, more robust and built to help you actually understand how your members are training.
Polish, everywhere
Dozens of smaller fixes add up: mobile tables that no longer overflow, hover and tap targets that behave, and pages that keep their scroll position instead of jumping to the top. Individually small, collectively a noticeably smoother app.
BTWB App Updates
Analyze Class (beta)

Coaches now get an at-a-glance read on everyone walking through the door. Open the Check-In Class screen, tap Analyze Class, and a panel slides in with a card for each athlete in the session — no more coaching blind.
Each card surfaces what actually matters heading into a workout: how often they’ve been training lately (attendance over the last several days and an activity-level indicator), their recent workout history, and their strength and volume for the movements at hand — including estimated 1RMs with how recently they were hit. You can also focus the analysis on a specific track, so the numbers line up with what you’re actually programming that day.
The result: coaches can scale a workout, pair up athletes, and give sharper cues from the first minute — because they walk in already knowing who’s been consistent, who’s returning from a gap, and where each person’s numbers sit. It’s rolling out to coaches now.
Coming Soon
AI Meal Logging & Analysis: Smarter nutrition tracking. Logging meals just got dramatically easier. Snap a photo or type what you ate, and AI food recognition identifies the items for you — then create the whole meal in one tap. Get instant AI feedback on your nutrition goals per meal.

Connect your AI assistant (beta – email us for access) – Gym owners will be able to connect AI assistants like Claude directly to their gym’s data through a new AI Agents page. Set it up once and let an assistant help you pull insights, answer questions, and move faster.
Here’s a peek at what else in progress right now:
- Calendar sync for coaches — Subscribe to your gym schedule directly in Apple or Google Calendar, always kept in sync.
- Void invoice action — Utilize a dedicated Void button on any upcoming, failed, or incomplete invoices whenever necessary.

- Build your own Cycles – Soon you’ll be able to create your own custom Cycles and assign them the same way — programming that’s entirely yours, delivered through the tools you already use.
- App Side Menu (beta) – We’re rebuilding the app’s side menu into a cleaner, card-based hub that puts your profile, badges, macros, fitness level, and analysis all one tap away. It’s a faster, more intuitive way to move around everything BTWB tracks for you.
