We recently released some new updates to our workout templates. The feedback we get from our members helps us tailor and improve the app constantly. We’ll continue improving our available templates in more updates, but here are two new ones to start!
You all have been asking for it, so here you go. Also known as “Ladder Style AMRAPs”, this template is for multi-movement AMRAPs where the reps increase as you progress through the rounds. Many CrossFit Open workouts utilize this style.
CrossFit Games Open 11.6 / 12.5 / 18.5
As many reps as possible in 7 mins of:
3 Thrusters, 100/65 lbs
3 Chest-to-bar Pull-ups
6 Thrusters, 100/65 lbs
6 Chest-to-bar Pull-ups
9 Thrusters, 100/65 lbs
9 Chest-to-bar Pull-ups
Continue increasing reps by 3 each round until time is complete.
How To Use
Head to the new “Ascending AMReps” template.
Here, you can specify the reps your movements start at, and the reps they increase by for each round. Set the total time for the workout, then hit the “Add New Movement” button to add your movements.
When you enter the round you finished at, we do the math for you and add up all your reps!
Enter the reps for the partial round you were working on when the workout finished, and you’re all set!
For Quality (Not Timed)
This template is perfect for logging those “extras” you may do before or after the main portion of your workout for the day. If it’s not timed or scored and just needs to be logged for credit, use this For Quality option.
Log these just like any other “for time” based workouts by adding your movements, reps, weights, etc!
